Went to Six Flags Over Texas with most of the Couch/Cross staff yesterday. Woke up at 5:45 AM...left at 7:15. Stopped at McDonald's on Lindsey for breakfast & coffee, then went the rest of the way to Arlington. Had a lot of fun, although it was hot, sunny, and extremely crowded. Got to ride all of the rides I wanted to ride, including the Titan, the Texas Giant, and Batman. Left around 6:15 PM and at at Friday's in the ballpark. That was fun as well. After dinner, it was back to the road - we made one stop in Denton, TX to gas up and buy more coffee...then it was straight back to Norman. Went to bed around 12:45 or so. Today was Sunday, so I woke up for church and breakfast. Overall, a good weekend...

Another week has passed. It was a fairly productive week - probably the biggest weight off my shoulders was the successful delivery of my social ethics presentation on the statistics of violence in schools (for EDFN 3003). Another "event of the week" was my philosophy test - I got a 97% on it. That should help out the grade quite a bit. Going bowling with my resi-friends now.....more later!

Today is Easter Sunday. Went to church at 11 AM with Tono and Cliff. It was the pefect St. Thomas More mass: crazy reading girl, cute reading kid, wacky choir guy, lots of chanting, and Cliff almost passing out. Who could ask for anything more? Went back to Walker after lunch and picked up Tim and Daniel and went to Chili's for lunch. Yes, I know it's not spectacular, but it was good. Now I'm back in my room, pissed that none of my favorite radio stations are streaming on the internet.... Going over to Walker now to watch Indy 3 with the guys. Have homework/research to do...and laundry...but it's Easter. It can wait...right?
